Research and recommendations prepared by SEO experts of UltraSEOSolutions
Keywords to target to achieve top 10 results on Google as soon as possible!
Definitely, the fastest way of getting your investments in SEO back is by achieving top 10 results on Google and other Major Search Engines like Yahoo, Bing, AOL, etc.
From our experience in SEO, we know that the least competitive keywords will be saving you lots of money and time. By targeting these keywords, you will be getting all your SEO investments back (Even much more) pretty much sooner.
How do I find the Least Competetive Keywords?
You have two options here:
Option1:
Make your current keyword phrases a bit longer for less competition. To do that you will simply need to insert a word or two to your main keyword.
Example: If you are targeting “Car Rental”; this is a pretty competitive keyword and is not strictly related to your website/business if you are focused on Car Renting in New York.
For faster ranking and better results, you will need to change your keyword to “New York Car Renal” or “NY Car Rental” or even “Car Rental in NY”/”Car Rental in New York”
Note: In most cases in SEO keyword research, key-phrases consisting of 1-2 words are very competitive and will be hard to rank for within a short time-frame, thus, we STRONLY suggest you focus your SEO keyword research to go for the longer keywords and ranking well for them before proceeding with the harder higher competition/traffic keywords.
Option2:
1) Harvest a bigger list containing all keywords related to your website (There are lots of free tools online for that such as Google’s Adwords Tool)
2) Check your current rankings for all keywords using the free SERP checker tool offered by Cleverstat called Google Monitor (Click Here to Download)
3) Now you will need to choose and target the keywords that are already ranked within the top 200 search results (Preferably those that are already ranked within the first 5 pages). This will guarantee you get results even sooner and cut down on your SEO investments.
How many links do I build per keyword?
This will depend on lots of factors such as:
1) Age of your domain
2) Competition of targeted keyword/Niche
3) Authority of websites ranked on first page and how many cached links they already have.
If your domain is aged (Over 16 months old) with over 200 cached links, you are free to build any number of links you desire without any fear of getting penalized or sandboxed, however. If you are targeting a big keyword list we suggest to have a maximum of 300 links created per month and have keywords spread at a good ratio between your Homepage and internal page(s)
If your domain is not aged and has not aquired any links, then we suggest you lower down your link velocity to anything between 100-300 keywords per month for all keywords targeted and we still recommend you have links spread over your main domain URL and internal page(s).
Building links to many pages of your website (Internal Pages or Sub-pages) makes your link building campaign look moor natural to search engines and especially to Google and from our experience in SEO, this does yield much better results for aged and non-aged domains.
Time to get your keyword research done for some link building.
